Length refers to foot length (measure from your back heel to your front toe of the foot - not the shoe). Shoe width is measured by taking the length along the widest portion of the shoe (usually across the ball of the foot).

1. Do these run true to size? And can I return them if they end up being too small/big for comfort?
Yes, these shoes run true to size, and we always recommend that our first-time customers refer to the sizing chart above for the best fit.
We understand that sometimes you can't always be 100% sure that all shoes purchased online will fit perfectly. After all, we don't get to try them on first!
Because of this we are offering a one-time free replacement for sizing issues!
All you have to do is follow the size chart above and order the pair you think fits you best. And if your shoes end up being 1-2 sizes bigger or smaller (after trying them on with your favorite socks), just send an email to support@nursekicks.com.com within 25 days of receiving your order and our customer support specialist Louie will process a free replacement for you!
What does this mean?
First, you don't have to worry so much about the fit.
Second, you save yourself the hassle of returning your tight/loose pair to us! Simply donate your existing shoes to a charity of your choice or gift them to someone who'd love to have it! Spread some love.
2. I'm an adult, but I have really petite feet. Do you have sizes smaller than women's US5?

We certainly do!
5. Are they slip-proof?
Yes! The design of these rubber soles was created with runners in mind.
There are grooves on the soles to minimize the risk of slipping on wet surfaces - this allows liquid to escape quickly from the base of your shoes so that your soles always come in contact with the ground with each step you take. There are also very tiny traction cleats for extra grip!
6.Are they comfortable enough to last through a 10-12 hour shift?
Yes! We've had a customer clocking in 9 miles in them because they're that comfortable and surprisingly lightweight!
Many of our customers spend an entire day walking in them, even bringing them to their favorite holiday destinations where a lot of walking is involved!
These sneakers are hands down the most comfortable shoes we can offer for long hours of walking and standing.
7. Can I use my own custom orthotic inserts?
Yes, you certainly may! We've had requests to make the insoles removable so that customers can use their own special orthotic inserts.
If you plan to use the original inserts that come with these shoes, don't worry about the removable insoles shifting around when walking. The insoles are molded to fit the exact shape of the shoes - customers don't even realize that they are removable until we let them know they can use their own custom orthotic inserts.
